MacKenzie has been working really hard this week in writing! Today her special people that she wrote about are her mom, dad, and sister. She worked on writing the beginning sounds of their names. She wrote m for mom and d for dad. She is starting to become a great writer!! Thank you MacKenzie for working hard in writing today!!

Today I wish I had a video camera of Drake reading! We have been talking about how we can use pictures in our book to help us read- well today Drake read the sentence and got stuck on the last word (wall). His entire body shifted to look at the picture to help him read where the girl was climbing- it was a perfect moment in small group- and unfortunately Mrs. Earle wasn't able to capture the moment on camera/video.  Drake way to go! You are a STAR reader!!
